The
following policies have been developed by the Training Department at Child Care
Connections to help facilitate the registration process.
1.
Registration
forms for any Child Care Connections training will be processed as they are
received.
Class size is always limited, depending on the size of the training space
or the request of the trainer. Registrations
can be submitted through the mail to the above address or via fax to 396-6581.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations over the phone.
As trainings fill quickly, be sure to submit registration forms as soon
as possible in order to secure enrollment.
2.
Registration
forms must be received at Child Care Connections
at least 3 business days prior to the start of the training.
For example, if a training is to begin on Monday, registration must
arrive at Child Care Connections by 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
Registrations received after their deadline will be subject to
an additional $5 fee per person, if space is available in the training.
Preparation for training often begins several days in advance.
Registrations received at the last minute create additional work for the
staff, as we must plan for many trainings each week.
3.
Child
Care Connections assumes that each participant will attend all sessions for
which they are registered. Special
arrangements must be made for planned absences.
(Exceptions may be made for illness or other emergencies.)
4.
Child
Care Connections requires notice of at least 5 business days if a
participant is not able to attend a training.
Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the training will
result in forfeiture of the registration fee.
Many trainings fill quickly and have a waiting list.
Child Care Connections strives to accommodate all participants who
register for each training. With
ample notice, we are able to notify a participant on the waiting list.
Cancellations made with sufficient notice will be eligible for a refund
of the registration fee. Child
Care Connections will not give “credit” for unattended training.
5.
MAKE-UP
POLICY - FOR 30 HOUR TRAININGS ONLY:
Participants may make up 3 missed hours from each 30 hour training by
completing a make-up assignment given by the trainer.
Each participant may only complete one make-up assignment to equal 3
